Comprehensive Training
Committee
| Purpose: |
- To provide training, support and mentoring for the beginning financial
aid professional.
- To offer a comprehensive training workshop on a bi-annual basis, or
as needs dictate.

| Duties: |

Survey membership to be aware of needs and preferences;
schedule training in response.

Plan the comprehensive training workshop and recruit
trainers and presenters.

Obtain sanctioned training materials.

Handle all registration activities.

Produce training materials to be shared with attendees.

Work with the Annual Conference and Training Committees to
ensure that neophyte interests are represented during training sessions.

Prepare a budget for annual operations
and account to the Treasurer for all expenditures with
necessary supporting documentation.

| Membership: |
- Chair (or co-chairs): Appointed by the President.
- Members: At least three committee members (additional
as necessary), selected by the chair with the approval of
the President.

| Tenure: |
- One year, but may be re-appointed.
|

| Qualifications: |
- Senior financial aid professionals with training experience.
