About the Committee
| Purpose: |
- To plan, organize and execute all facets of the CT Fair
for Education Professionals which provides training and
information on Student Financial Aid to the High School
guidance counseling community.
|
| Duties: |
- Choose a date and location for the fair, being sensitive
to school holiday schedules, other training opportunities,
and any other areas of potential conflict.
- Plan all training sessions and recruit speakers, presenters
and moderators.
- Solicit exhibitors from the school and vendor communities.
- Handle the creation and distribution of all promotional
and registration activities.
- Arrange for CEU credits for the Guidance Counselors who
attend.
- Prepare a budget for annual operations and account to
the Treasurer for all expenditures with necessary supporting
documentation.

| Membership: |
- Co-chairs: One Institutional member, appointed by the
President; one Associate member recommended by the Platinum
Sponsor of the Fair
- Members: At least three committee members (additional
as necessary), selected by the chairs with the approval
of the President.

| Tenure: |
- One year, but may be re-appointed.
|
| Qualifications: |
- Experience on a conference committee or other similar
organizational activity.
