CAPFAA PRIVACY STATEMENTIn keeping with our commitment to maintain our members' trust, CAPFAA has published this Privacy Statement to inform our members of our practices in handling membership information. CAPFAA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the educational and professional needs of financial aid administrators within Connecticut. We respect the privacy of our membership and adhere to the policies outlined below: Addresses All members' addresses, both postal and electronic, are privileged information and are not sold to outside entities. This information is only available to the membership for Association business. Since electronic communications are the primary vehicle for contacting the membership, individuals are urged to always maintain an accurate email address in the Association's database. Members may update their demographic information by accessing the Membership area of the CAPFAA web page. Elections CAPFAA utilizes electronic balloting for Association elections. Privacy standards are in place to ensure the confidentiality of voters' choices. Surveys From time to time, CAPFAA surveys the membership for feedback on training needs, conference preferences, and other Association activities and projects. The identity of individual respondents is protected in order to guarantee confidentiality.
