New Webinar with Robert Weinerman!
Introduction the 2021 Tax Forms and Tax Code

This webinar is the 2021 version of Iron Bridge Resource’s annual tour of the tax forms and changes to the tax code for the newest tax year. The tax year 2021 changes to the tax forms and tax code look deceptively minor but are in fact quite consequential.

Many schools will collect 2021 tax forms as documentation for professional judgments in the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 aid years. Financial aid administrators at these schools need to be able to interpret them correctly.

We will cover the following topics, among others, in this webinar:

  • The location of all tax related need analysis data elements cited in the FAFSA
  • New line items on the 2021 tax forms that may (or may not) be reportable as untaxed income
  • Changes to the tax code that were implemented in 2020 or earlier and have expired, and how these expirations impact financial aid
  • The impact on the EFC of changes to the 2021 child tax credit.

This webinar will be offered at the following times:

• March 30, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Eastern Time (10:00 AM to 12 noon Pacific Time)
• April 7, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Eastern Time (10:00 AM to 12 noon Pacific Time)
• April 19, 2022 from noon to 2:00 PM Eastern Time (9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Pacific Time).
