President’s Message

Happy summer, CAPFAA!

I hope that all of you are finding at least a little time to get away from the office for some rest and relaxation during this summer season.

On July 10 and 12 your officers and committee chairs met for the annual planning retreat. We discussed the many activities and events that we’re planning for the coming year and approved the budget to support them.

Our first event of the year will be our conference in Danbury on Monday, September 25 and Tuesday, September 26. Elizabeth, Christina, and the rest of the committee are hard at work to make this year’s conference a truly memorable event. Registration is live at https://www.capfaa.org/events-calendar/#!event/2017/9/25/2017-capfaa-conference.

Please keep in mind that in order to attend the conference or any of our other events, you must be a current CAPFAA member. Though membership dues are technically not due until October 1, with the conference now falling the week prior, I strongly encourage you to renew your membership sooner rather than later. Bill, the chair of membership committee, sent instructions via the listerv on July 15. Dues remain at $150.

I look forward to seeing you at the conference or one of our other events this year!

Kind regards,

Alex Muro

CAPFAA President
